I love the Lord…
I love the Lord,
because He has heard my voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
–Psalm 116:1-2
Tozer once prayed, “God, if Thou dost never answer another prayer while I live on this earth I will still worship Thee as long as I live and in the ages to come for what Thou hast done already.”
Have you taken some time to love on the Lord today?
Grace and Peace

Dad, this is awesome. I really like it, and I agree with Tozer, if God never answers any more of my prayers, I will still worship him for as long as I live.

God says that if He did not deny us even His own Son, there is no good thing He would withold from us. It is so good to know that God’s desire for us and intention toward us is all good, but you are right – how often do we stop to appreciate the fact that He has already given us the best there is.
Lord help us to be ever mindful of the many and various ways you bless us.

I am fighting back tears. To know that Patti has been in pain for over a week and yet can sit down and write about how much God blesses us. The Bible says God inhabits the priases of His people, what better time to praise Him then in our time of greatest need. What a blessing this family is to me. I am a better Christian and person today for knowing them.

Hi Anil,
I read this entry on Labor day night but I had to sit on it a while. See, sometimes life can seem so overwhelming and mean… I mean I know GOd is good but do I KNOW , like the greek know which it is only through experiencing know? Well, after praying and listen to GOd yes, I do know by experience that God is good. Thanks for making me keep my eyes on the One from which my help comes from.
