Tomorrow is a Thief

It’s been a couple months since I last put an entry in this blog. I read an entry in Bob’s blog and he was making fun of almost all the DLC bloggers… and he was right. I have been procrastinating.

Luke 14:16-24 teaches us some important things about Procrastination:

16 Jesus replied with this story: “A man prepared a great feast and sent out many invitations. 17 When the banquet was ready, he sent his servant to tell the guests, ‘Come, the banquet is ready.’ 18 But they all began making excuses. One said, ‘I have just bought a field and must inspect it. Please excuse me.’ 19 Another said, ‘I have just bought five pairs of oxen, and I want to try them out. Please excuse me.’ 20 Another said, ‘I now have a wife, so I can’t come.’

21 “The servant returned and told his master what they had said. His master was furious and said, ‘Go quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and invite the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’ 22 After the servant had done this, he reported, ‘There is still room for more.’ 23 So his master said, ‘Go out into the country lanes and behind the hedges and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full. 24 For none of those I first invited will get even the smallest taste of mprocrastinationy banquet.’”

Do you know what the most dangerous word in the bible is?

TOMORROW

The word ‘tomorrow’ is a THIEF… it robs dreamers of their dreams.

It robs the talented of their greatest achievements. It keeps us  from being all that God wants us to be and keeps us from having all that God wants us to have.

Has the Lord given you the opportunity to do something for Him?

Have you made excuses? Have you procrastinated?

Will you get another chance?

Grace and Peace

  1. Blogging, OK I will get to it tomorrow, thanks for the reminder…

Stick the knife in me, turn it to the left them pull up…

I have been guilty also. It is not like the Holy SPirit has not given me a word or 2 or 20 to share. I definitely have something to share. I just have been lazy. OK you heard it, I said it myself, I have been lazy.

Encouragement received, I WILL blog ASAP…

    Thank you Jesus…

To God be ALL of the Glory…

  2. Great job Anil. Of course your blog was far more Biblical than mine. Remember what the Good Book says: Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: A time to blog, a time to keep silent.(NBV) New Bob Version. Keep on bloggin, it’s fun.
