Anil and Patti,
I knew about this blog entry a week and a half ago, shat did I do about it, I printed it 2 times to read it (only because I really wanted to grasp 100% of the message that the Holy Spirit had for me) and never read more than

"Here’s a teaching from my most favorite author, Patricia D. Modeste. It’s called “Getting Focused for the Journey… Setting our sights on God” and it blessed me immensely. I hope it blesses you too…"

You know as well as I do, God is never late. This would not have had the same affect if I commented 9 days ago.

I know that I am that "Christian" character in the book Pilgrim's Promise, I guess I have to read that book too, thanks... As I travel from my hometown to Celestial City and remain burdened by my sins and seek salvation, I sometimes forget that God has a plan for each of us and He will never leave me or forsake me.

I watched the Passion of the Christ last night and what an impact that had on me. Even though I saw it before, watching it on Good friday, had a speacial meaning.

Point to ponder:
Why is it that we can lose focus so easily, YET through ruthless agression, pain, suffering, humiliation, and finally death, Jesus did not lose focus on the plan that God had for us?

Did you see what I wrote; "the plan God had for us". In order for God's plan to go to the next stage, Jesus had to die for us on the cross and rise 3 days later. Thank you Jesus for not losing your focus and fulfilling your commitment to The Father.

Read again, Hebrews 11:1; "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" Even though Jesus is God, His Faith in the Father is as strong as our faith is SUPPOSED to be, is it?

Read again, Romans 8:28; "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." All things work together, it is all in God's plan, but you have to make the effort also, you simply have to LOVE GOD. If you do that, you are called according to HIS purpose. Whais is HIS purpose for you? What are you called to do? What part of the "Church Body" are you?

Thank you Jesus for not losing Your focus.
Thank you God for the plan You have for me.
Thank you Holy Spirit for helping me release the burdens I carry.
Thank you for the cross I carry, for it is for You purpose that you have set forth in my life.

I am now more thankful than ever, thank you Patti and Anil for your obedience to share what the Holy Spirit places in your heart and I pray for God to reveal the plan he has for you and your family and makes it very clear. Continue to follow Him, He will not lead you astray.

God Bless you all and yes, to God be ALL Of the Glory...

This blog is truly amazing Anil!!! :D God can be both yes but I tend to think that “because of” is the better of the two choices. It's amazing that with every blog I read God teaches me something. To God truly belongs ALL the GLORY!
